Actor Jang Geun Suk’s life-size advertisement in the Asahi Newspaper, which was published in Japan earlier this year, recently won an award in Japan.

Jang Geun Suk printed a life-size photo of himself in the newspapers to promote his new Japanese album ‘Just Crazy’ back in May. And in the 2012 Asahi Shimbun Advertisement Awards, this particular advertisement came out on top.

A representative stated, “The ad was for Jang Geun Suk’s first album in Japan. Using the newspaper’s space to the fullest extent, he made a large impact on readers. It wasn’t distributed to a wide range of people, but it received a lot of attention among many media agencies in Japan.”
