Singer IU showed her love by donating 10 million Won to her high school.
On December 4, a representative of LOEN Entertainment revealed, “IU donated 10 million won to Dongduk Girls’ High School in order to help some of the students going to the school.”
After graduating from the school in October, IU made a donation for the school to purchase books for its library. IU has also stated recently that she wishes to continue paying tuition for juniors in need.
The school seemed to be wary of spreading the news, as there are people who take good deeds unkindly. However, the news was published on the ‘Sunbaes news’ segment of her high school news paper.
IU has been continually making donations to those in need. She previously donated all profits from the sales of “It’s First Love” and “Ice Flower” and the appearance fee from Hope Concert – Help Multicultural Family.
