Actor Lee Jung Jin has signed with one of the top entertainment management agencies in Korea, JYP Entertainment.

On December 11, JYP Entertainment revealed that the actor has signed an exclusive contract with the firm after his contract with Awesome Entertainment recently expired. It is said that Lee Jung Jin and JYPE’s head Park Jin Young have been close friends for a long time even prior to the negotiations.

Lee Jung Jin joining the firm is expected to expand the company’s actor management business field. Some of the actors who work under the JYP Entertainment include, Choi Woo Shik, Lee Eung Jung, Park Joo Hyung and Kim So Young.

Meanwhile, Lee Jung Jin had drawn much attention with his great acting in the film ‘Pieta’, which received the Golden Lion at the 69th Venice International Film Festival.
