Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong bagged four awards at the ‘2012 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards’ held at Hong Kong’s Convention Center on December 17th.

The ‘Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards’ is an annual event that gives awards to Asian pop stars based on the number of searches they received on the Internet portal site.

Kim Hyun Joong has been honored with a total of four trophies including the ‘Most Popular Artist of the Decade’, ‘Asia Top Buzz Solo Artist’, ‘Hong Kong Top Buzz Solo Artist’ and ‘Taiwan Top Buzz Solo Artist’.

The singer received over 1.3 million netizen votes for the poll for the ‘Asia Top Buzz Solo Artist’, which is three times bigger than all the other artists nominated in the same category put together, proving his unceasing popularity.
