Following the release of a mysterious teaser earlier today, it has been revealed that Girls’ Generation will be pre-releasing a track off of the girls’ upcoming 4th album on December 21st.

On the morning of December 20, SM Entertainment Twitter tweeted a short message, “2012. 12. 21 10 A.M.” along with logo-like image showing Girls’ Generation’s name in Korean. According to insiders, the teaser is actually the date and time for the new track’s release.

Some insiders revealed that the song being released on the 21st is a remake of a famous song which Girls’ Generation has prepared some years ago. This song will also be included in their upcoming 4th album due out in January.
