After being slammed with a ban request, IU’s KBS drama ‘The Best Lee Soon Shin’ continues to dominate with high ratings.

According to Nielson Korea, ‘The Best Lee Soon Shin’ recorded a 25.2% ratings on its fourth episode. It increased 4% since the last episode and set way past the record made on the second episode, proving that it’s following up the success of ‘My Daughter Seo Young’.

In addition, this is a great relief as the drama went through a lot of criticisms about its title. A group of youth recently requested the banning the drama for defaming one of the greatest heroes in Korean history, General Lee Soon Shin, which coincides with the name of the character IU plays.
