Actress Moon Geun Young will return to the small screen in July in an upcoming periodic drama.

Moon Geun Young has been confirmed to star in the new MBC drama, ‘Goddess of Fire, Jeongi’ where she play the first female potter of the ancient Joseon Dynasty, who becomes the nation’s best pottery artisan.

This will be the first time in 5 years that she will star in a periodic drama since she starred in ‘Painter of the Wind.’

Her agency stated, “Moon Geun Young has been practicing pottery-making recently and focusing on analyzing the character she’s going to play. She is working hard to make the character come out perfect.”
