Go Soo to make small screen comeback with ‘The Golden Empire’

Actor Go Soo will be making his small screen comeback for the first time in four years with upcoming SBS drama, ‘The Golden Empire’. On April 23rd, the actor’s management agency announced that Go Soo recently decided to cast in ‘The Golden Empire’. He will be playing the role of a young man Jang Tae Joo, who lives through a war-like life to reach the chair of the biggest power. Go Soo is gathering expectation, since he will be appealing himself with powerful masculinity, acting with ‘masterpiece’ actors Son Hyun Joo, Park Geun Hyung, and Ryu Seung Soo. ‘The Golden Empire’ is about the power struggle within a rich family living through Korea’s turbulent economy of the 1990s. The drama will be a collaboration between screenwriter Park Kyung Soo and producer Jo Nam Gu, who previously worked together for the drama ‘The Chaser’.
