2NE1’s CL has officially changed the English title of her solo debut song to “The Baddest Female”. YG Entertainment announced on May 23, “The track was previously called ‘Bad Girl’ but CL suggested that we change the title to ‘The Baddest Female’ and that became our final decision.” “The Baddest Female” is a title that shows off strong impression as much as CL’s charisma and force. It is also one of CL’s catchphrases, which is widely recognized among fans. When the reporter asked if Lee Hyori’s new song “Bad Girls” was a factor in the name change, YG Entertainment denied it and revealed that the title “Bad Girl” was decided a long time ago. The song will be based on a very slow beat but mixed with some new sounds that will go well with CL’s rap. CL recently went to Japan and received some personal lessons to effectively liven the choreography. She also participated in meetings to coordinate clothing and the studio concept.
