Going back to his acting roots, Jang Geun Suk has been casted in upcoming new drama, ‘Pretty Boy’.

On June 18, TreeJ Company announced that Jang Geun Suk confirmed his appearance in the drama ‘Pretty Boy’ which is based on a comic book of the same name by the renowned Korean cartoonist Chon Kye Young. The story will be rewritten by writer Yoo Young Ah, the man behind the movie, ‘The Gift of Room 7’.

Jang Geun Suk will play ambitious Dokgo Ma Tae who wants to gain money and power by using his perfect physical appearance. This marks the singer-actor’s return to the small screen after KBS’ ‘Love Rain’ in 2012 which also starred Girls’ Generation’s YoonA.
