EXO’s fans will no longer be allowed into both the pre-recording and live performance of the group on SBS’ weekly music program, ‘Inkigayo’.

According to an official announcement on EXO’s official homepage, EXO’s fans have been officially banned from attending ‘Inkigayo’ starting August 4 until further notice. The reason given for the ban is that the fans failed to follow staff orders and broke many safety rules such as jaywalking in front of the broadcast station and chasing after the artists’ vehicles.

The announcement also stated that fans used cheering tools like fanboards, placards and light sticks, in a dangerous way, putting other artists and fans at risk. The show’s producers also mentioned that on multiple occasions the police have even had to intervene.

Not only at Inkigayo, EXO’s fans have been also ignoring the instructions of staffs on other broadcast stations which started to negatively affect the group members themselves.
