‘Music Bank’ cuts 20 minutes of airtime for Jo Kwon’s new music request show

KBS will be launching its new music request show ‘Global Request Show: A Song For You’ on August 23, cutting 20 minutes of airtime from the station’s weekly music program ‘Music Bank’. According to KBS, ‘Global Request Show: A Song For You’ will feature MC Jo Kwon of 2AM and guest who together will pick a song and sing live requests posted by viewers on the program homepage. The program was incorporated into the official schedule after being broadcast on KBS World and Youtube in February under the title of “A Song For You from 2PM” which was hosted by 2PM members. It will air every Friday at 6:10PM (KST) and ‘Music Bank’, a music program being broadcast in the same time slot, will be starting 20 minutes later than its original time, which would be at 6:30PM.
