On October 8th, IU released her third studio album ‘Modern Times’ and immediately swept the Top 13 spots of South Korea’s major real-time music charts. With this feat, the single also ranked first on the iChart on Instiz, certifying a ‘perfect all-kill’ on the chart. “The Red Shoes” was created by the Lee Min Soo and Kim Eena after getting inspired by Andersen’s cruel fairytale ,‘The Red Shoes’. It is a dramatic song that features IU’s deep and emotion-filled voice.
