Following their successful concert in Seoul, adorable girl group Crayon Pop headed over to Japan for their first ever solo concert in the country, drawing some 2,000 fans.
On November 15, Crayon Pop held a free concert titled ‘2nd POPCON IN TOKYO’ at the Zepp Divercity Tokyo in Odaiba, Japan. Around 2,000 fans were present, along with 30 media outlets and 200 representatives in the music industry, making the concert a huge success.
The concert was divided into two parts, with first part being a ‘K-pop cover dance’ competition where Crayon Pop served as judges. Crayon Pop then started the second part with its representative song “Bar Bar Bar” and went on with other hits like “Saturday Night”, “Dancing Queen” and “Bing Bing”.
Upcoming group under the same label, Snakehead, also appeared at the concert, performing remixes of BTS and Block B’s tracks.
Member Way shared, “We had mini concert at a small venue with 400 people at the beginning of this year, and now we got to perform for more than 2000 people in Zepp, so it feels like a dream. In the future, we will be the Crayon Pop who return our fans’ love through the free concerts.”
