Kara's Jiyoung's contract with DSP Media terminated + leave for London on April 5th

Following Nicole, Kara's maknae Kang Jiyoung decided to leave the group to study oversea.
On April 5th, DSP Media said,"Since last January Jiyoung has expressed her wish to leave the group after her contract ends to pursue her study and she has been preparing for it recently. She departed for London today on April 5th to receive acting lessons and also to train on her language skill"
They continued,"At the same time, Kang Jiyoung's exclusive contract with DSP Media ended","Jiyoung is now standing alone, we respect her decision and will continue to support and cheer for her new challenges in the future".
Meanwhile, Gyuri, Hara and Seungyeon are currently active with their own activities. Even with the departure of 2 members, DSP Media still stated that the group is planning to release a new album in the second half of the year.
