Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung to star in 'Nodame Cantabile' Korean version

On April 29th, Joo Won's agency confirmed that he will star as the lead character for "Nodame Cantabile" Korean version.
He will play the role of Shinichi Chiaki who is known as a perfectionist. This role was previously performed by Japanese actor Hiroshi Tamaki in 2006.
In addition, actress Shim Eun Kyung is considered to play as the heroine Megumi Noda who is a pianist genius and is in love with Chiaki, but nothing has yet to be decided. Japanese actress Ueno Juri played the role in the original series and it was a huge success.
"Nodame Cantabile" is scheduled to broadcast on KBS in October.
