After winning on 'K-pop Star Season 2' and being torn among the three giant agencies, Akdong Musician (AKMU) sign a contract under YG Entertainment.

Recently, AKMU revealed the reason behind choosing YG over SM and JYP. They said that in fairness to SM and JYP, they didn't fail to teach them a lot while on their training. However, YG gave them the liberty to do what they think fun. It's the freedom bestowed to them that made them decide on picking YG.

AKMU debuted with their 1st album entitled 'PLAY' with '200%' as its title song.
