On May 20th, YG Entertainment announced that Yang Hyun Suk established Muju YG Foundation to celebrate its 18th Anniversary. To commemorate the establishment, the CEO also personally donated 1 billion won.

Muju YG Foundation is said to be a non-profit foundation. It will provide medical treatment, rehabilitation and also tuition fees support for all the children and teenagers who are in difficulty.

Yang Hyun Suk said,"I'm very happy that finally the foundation is established so that I can make more contributions in the future".

It was said that YG Entertainment submitted the permit application last year to The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Republic and just recently got approved for its registration. The foundation will cooperate with "YG WITH Campaign" in order to spread more the culture donation.
