Lee Seung Gi suffers from serious eye injury while filming for 'You're Surrounded'

According to the officials, Lee Seung Gi was filming for an action scene on June 9th morning then he got hit in the eye by a fake sword accidentally. He was immediately transferred to the hospital after that.
He was diagnosed with corneal damage and intraocular hermorrhage. Lee Seung Gi then insisted to return to the filming set but the doctor stated that with his current condition, he needs to have a complete rest.
Lee Seung Gi's agency said,"Because it's not an external injury so it's somehow severe. The doctors asked him to stay at the hospital for 2-3 days for a full examination.
Because Lee Seung Gi is the man character of the drama and the production team thought it would be impossible to continue filming without him, so they decided to temporary pause the filming. The broadcast on June 11th will be replaced by a special episode while episode 10 will be on air on June 12th.
