On the 35th Banff World Media Festival, KBS2TV drama, 'Good Doctor' bagged the Best Serial Drama Award.

It's director, Ki Minsoo, gave a message saying, "This show has touched the hearts of the audience because of its medical concept and because of the fact that the main character has disability but still succeed in life. I want to commend Park Shion's (played by actor Joo Won) willingness to learn the ethical views of a doctor. I'm happy that my efforts are recognized."

'Good Doctor' starred Joo Won, Moon Chae-won, Joo Sang-wook, Chun Ho-jin, Kwak Do-won and Ko Chang-seok. It's about an autistic scholar who becomes a genius pediatric surgeon.

The event was held in Canada on June 8th.
