With all these news surrounding 2NE1's Park Bom, netizens continue to dig past references to her current issue.
Upon the revelation of Bom's tragic past in relation to the death of her close friend, English e-newspaper articles dated in the year 1998 and 2000 popped out and were recovered revealing more interesting facts.
An Ocotber 7, 2000 article titled "Young soccer player's death ruled result of aneurysm" talked about the natural death of a 14-year-old teenager occurred during a varsity soccer match, whom netizens claimed to be Bom's friend.
On the other hand, an article dated December 8, 1998 mentioned Park Bom's English name 'Jenny Park', a sophomore who was a recipient of a junior varsity coach's award revealing Bom's past as a skilled soccer player that majority aren't aware until recently.
However, with all of these revelations, netizens are making a fuss about Bom's real age based on her sophomore year in 1998 (17 years old according to Korean articles) which supposed to make her 34 years old today instead of 31. Despite that, nothing's confirmed yet whether she adjusted her age on her present profile or skipped a school year.
