On October 23, it is reported that Chae Yeon is preparing to comeback to music industry after 5-year hiatus. 

Chae Yeon has been working as a singer and actress in China over the past few years. She is planning to release a new album in Korea next year. Through the phone interview, the singer’s agency rep said "Chae Yeon is thinking about releasing an album in Korea next year, but the time has not been decided yet."

Fans are expecting the return of sexy queen Chae Yeon after 5 years since album ’Look At’ in July of 2010. 

In addition, Chae Yeon has recently appeared on SBS's 'Roommates season 2' as a friend of Japanese actor Otani Ryohei and revealed her wish to marry soon.
