Song Il Kook and his cute triplets have finished the 2015 calendar photoshoot on popular KBS show “Return of Superman” and was reported to be sold about 125,000 copies in one day, according to online marketplace Auction.
The calendar named “Cheers to the Republic of Korea” including images of Daehan, Minguk and Mansae, has earned 680 million won ($617,000) and the profits will be all donated for charity purpose.
Song Il Gook originally wanted to make the calendars to give as gifts to his acquaintances. But when viewers saw an episode in which Song and the three boys were shown at a photoshoot for the calendar, KBS received multiple requests to purchase it.
Each desk calendar is 5,500 won and will be sold on Auction and Lotte iMall until the end of this month. In the displayed calendar photos, Daehan, Minguk and Mansae show their cuteness with various poses and expression.
The triplet calendars will be delivered to customers since January 5th 2015.
