After School's Jooyeon writes fans a letter in regard of her graduation from the group.

She posted her letter on After School's official fan cafe on December 31st:

"Hello, this is Jooyeon.

I don't know what to say and how to say this.

I have graduated from After School and I am talking on a new challenge. First, I want to apologize for those who have been surprised by this news.

It has been six years since I met you with After School. In retrospect, I think there were a lot of times when I laughed and cried. In one step, I was able to grow and become stronger. This new challenge makes me excited by I'm also afraid.

Although I will not be with my After School members and beloved fans, I do not think this as an eternal farewell. To those who gave me memorable time as a gift..I will remember each and everyone of you with all my heart.

I will show an improved image of myself and I will do my best to not disappoint those who wait for me. Please wait for me as I will show you a good image. Thank you"

In addition, Pledis Entertainment announced that Jooyeon's contract has expired on December 31st and will officially leave After School. For the time being, she will focus on her role in the play 'The Man From Earth'.
