Rainbow's Woori has been casted in upcoming MBC's drama 'Flower of the Equator'(working title).

DSP Media said on January 5th,"Woori has participated in various auditions for 'Flower of the Equator' since the end of last year","More details and schedules are still being coordinated".

Woori will take the role of Seo Yura who has a severe mood swing but begind to change when she starts falling in love for Park Jae Joon(Yoon Park). After School's Nana was previously revealed to have auditioned for the same role but apparently she couldn't make it until the end.

Yoon Park, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Sung Ryung, Jo Hyung Ki have been confirmed for the drama.

'Flower of the Equator' will tell the story of an ambitious woman who reunites with her daughter whom she neglected. The filming is scheduled to begin later this month.
