SHINee's Onew will make his acting comeback in new web drama 'Dating Was The Easiest'(working title).

It was revealed that the drama went through two round of public auditions with a total of 2000 participants. 120 people made it to the final selection after 3 weeks of reviewing, and Onew was chosen for the lead role thanks to his much preparation and analysis on the character.

The child actors and supporting actors have all been confirmed through the auditions, while the female lead hasn't been decided yet. Park Hae Mi and Sung Dong Il are revealed to appear in this drama as well.

Lee Min Hong PD said,"We will try to find a new star through a fair audition process".

'Dating Was The Easiest' is based on a popular webtoon of the same name, focusing on the love story between a mountain god tiger and a highschool girl named Hari. It will be broadcasted online via Beetm TV at the end of April.
