This special Niki Lauda edition of the 458 Italia was recently commissioned by an unnamed Ferrari owner through the Italian supercar manufacturer’s Maranello-based Tailor Made program, and pays homage to the aviation entrepreneur and current chairman of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.
The model sports Ferrari’s signature bright red paint scheme, while the Italian tricolore has been painted across its roof stretching towards the interior of the vehicle, that also features red-stitched black leather and a carbon fiber-adorned cabin. Finishing off the luxury look are gold rims to evoke the look of Lauda’s original 1970s racers. More pictures below.
