Hennessey Venom GT's 270-mph isn't going to be enough for the company. They are working on the Venom F5 now, to exceed Bugatti Veyron's top speed of all the way to 290 mph.
Hennessey said in an interview with Top Gear that the 7.0-liter V8 (twin turbocharged, of course) could exceed 1,400 horsepower, so that a 290 mph run would be "possible."
The F5 is supposed to be an upgraded Venom GT, according to Hennessey, with better aerodynamics and a minimal weight increase to keep it around 2,900 lbs.
