Christian Bale Offered $50 Million To Be In New 'Batman' Movie

There's a rumor that Warner Bros. has offered to pay the actor a lot of money just to reprise his Dark Knight role.
It all stems from a new ebook titled, "Beyond Batman: The Unauthorized True Story of Christian Bale and His Dark Knight Dilemma." According to the author Vince Russel, an unnamed Legendary Pictures insider speculated that Bale could net $50 million if he were to return as the dark knight.
These figures were based on how Robert Downey Jr. was reportedly paid $50 million for his role in last year's "The Avengers." Wonder if the Batman would be tempted by that kind of cash?
