New York-based non-profit Environmental Grantmakers Association doubled in size from four people to nine this summer, so you can imagine having to enlarge their working area to accommodate more people. Instead of looking for another office, they got architecture and design firm Taylor & Miller to use an existing collapsible filing system to create an easily changeable office for EGA.
By folding and rotating the cranks, cubicles expand to accommodate a full staff of desks, or contract to create a large open space.
