Turns out it's not as easy as just pouring asphalt all over the ground to make a highway. The process has a whole lot of steps you didn't know.
This video from Aaron Jones shows the E.T. Simonds construction company as they go through the pains of widening a four mile stretch. They first have to resurface - laying the road's metal skeleton, then dump the concrete and put the finishing touches on each lane.
