But it turns out that Obi-Wan and Yoda did discuss their duplicity, and even disagreed about how they should proceed.

Thanks to the Facebook group "Return of the Jedi long lost Edit Droid Laserdisc Discovered," this deleted "Jedi" scene featuring Yoda, on his death bed, shows him recalling how he and Obi-Wan lied to Luke.
