Awesome Dad Designed His Own 3D-Printed Prosthetic Hand For His Son [VIDEO]

Now this is what we call a dedicated dad. Leon McCarthy was born without fingers on one of his hands due to restricted blood flow in the womb. About two years ago, his father Paul saw a video featuring another boy using a 3D-printed Robohand.
Inspired by the story, Paul decided to go online to find a 3D-printed prosthetic pattern before coming up with an inexpensive yet functional prosthetic hand for his son.
Leon has now learned to use the 3D-printed prosthetic. Both he and his father will be working together to modify the original design to make more useful hands once he outgrows the hand.
