A good handshake might be essential in making a good impression, but it can increase your chances of catching all sorts of nasty bacteria.



In this “Fist Bump Manifesto” video, Dr. James Hamblin of The Atlantic demonstrates proper fist bump etiquette that he believes would be beneficial for the workplace.

Back in November, Hamblin has posted the manifesto to promote the fist bump as a healthier alternative to the handshake after studies found that fist bumping transmitted far fewer bacteria than handshakes.

It might seem ridiculous, but it's still better than having to deal with being ill at work right?
