Wrapping a sandwich isn't as easy as just putting some plastic or paper over it. There's a proper way to deal with it without making a mess out of things. This tutorial from Food52 will show you how to do it.
Just use a little wax paper, making it twice as long as it is wide and larger than your sandwich of course, and fold a tent over your sandwich. Then fold the paper over itself over and over again until you've folded the wax paper down flat against the top of the sandwich. After that, fold the sides into arrowhead shapes and fold each one up under the sandwich.
You're done! The whole thing will hold your sandwich together, but if you need anything extra, just put a little tape on the bottom.
