The is an incredible story about a woman named Amanda, and the thoughts that went through her head during the final months of battling brain cancer.
Based on her official Twitter account, Amanda passed away back in April 2013. A digital consultant from Toronto named Shannon McKarney stumbled upon the account, and proceeded to put together this heartbreaking video.
Shannon says she was fascinated by how Amanda left behind a Twitter account that was much more than just a Twitter account, but a reflection of her.
“I admired the way she had taken on this challenge she faced, she was diagnosed with this terminal illness and she said ‘OK, I’m going to run with it,’”
“So she left her phone on the table and she had adventures.”
Our hearts go out to Amanda's family. Hopefully her story will inspire others to make each and every single day count. Be thankful for what you have, because you never know when it could all be taken away tomorrow.
