Mason Wells travels a lot, and might have some bad luck wherever he goes. He was at the Brussels Airport dropping off a fellow Mormon missionary when the suitcase bomb detonated. He was hit by shrapnel and suffered second degree burns.

But that's not the remarkable thing here. Wells has also survived the attacks in Paris and Boston too.

He was a block away from the Boston Marathon and was in Paris when the attacks happened.

His mother tells ABC news:

Mason has always assured us that he is safe and careful... I told him first and foremost always be aware of your surroundings, please be very careful when you’re traveling be very observant to people around you.

His father chimes in:

[They were told that] despite being on the ground and bleeding [Mason] actually had a sense of humor and remained calm through the situation. That’s our Mason...

The way we get back on our feet after something like this happens is a true test of character... He was blessed significantly by God. We see a blessing by this, not a terrible curse.

This guy is pretty lucky, but at the same time, unlucky. Hopefully he doesn't have to witness anymore of this.
