Canadian photographer Shawn Van Daele believes that "anything is possible," so he tried to encourage this sort of thinking in kids with certain health conditions. He started collecting drawings by kids in need, and was inspired by the illustrations of their dreams. So he brought them to life in photography.

For his "Drawing Hope" project, he holds photo shoots with the kids, reenacting their drawings and making them real-life heroes and heroines of their own fantasy worlds. The results of these digitally altered photography bring plenty of joy to the lives of these children and their families.

In addition, many of these kids are in need of organ transplants, and the project raises awareness of how necessary and easy it is for us to sign up and donate.
