A documentary called "A Perfect 14," is looking to raise funds for post-production on Indiegogo. The film explores the most ignored world of plus-size models and their struggle to be accepted by the fashion industry.

It features plus-size models, Elly Mayday, Laura Wells and Korosene Deluxe, following their careers as well as interviews with designers, photographers and agencies about our perception of body image.

According to body image researcher at Simon Fraser University Daniella Sieukaran, "Weightism is pretty much the last acceptable version of discrimination." "A Perfect 14" is opening up a new conversation about the media's culpability in perpetuating obsolete beauty standards. You can watch the trailer below and learn more about the documentary here.
