Most sexual assault cases that occur on college usually have alcohol involved. Sometimes, it's more than alcohol. Date rape drugs are tasteless, odorless, making them undetectable in drinks. And that's very scary.

DrinkSavvy is trying to combat them with its drug detecting plastic cups and straws. Their product is sensitive to the most commonly used date rape drugs like GHB, Rohypnol and Ketamine. It will turn red in response to its presence.

Founded and created by Michael Abramson, whose investment in this is personal says:

“Why do I care so much? Over the past three years, three close friends and myself have been unwittingly exposed to these drugs," he says. "With over one million cases, someone close to you could come in contact with date rape drugs.”
