Chinese high school graduates are going under the knife just before getting into college and the reason is to open up more doors for their future. The practice is getting more popular and is regardless of sex too according to the Shanghaiist.
From double-eyelid work to fuller noses and thinner faces, some cosmetic centers are reporting that their clients are getting younger with many of them being around the age of 17 or 18.
Some are even accompanied by their parents! Physical appearance seems to be a standard in some of these places, and China is providing a lot of patients to popular centers in South Korea.
China's cosmetic surgery industry is valued at 400 billion yuan according to BBC earlier this year.
