Lady Gaga has taken her brand of fashion up to the skies. Literally. And not quite either. Her latest outfit isn't anything we've ever seen before (but then again, everything she wears is something we haven't seen before).

The artist introduced a new addition to her eccentric wardrobe on Sunday: a flying dress called "Volantis". She debuted it at a secret location in New York during an event called artRave.

The flying dress is powered by 50-volt batteries, and the Vine video below shows the artist hovering over the ground as the dress buzzes loudly and slowly allowing her to move across stage.

The part of the device is connected to a fitted dress, and there are six other parts of the dress that lifted her into the air.

Here are the schematics for it:

Vevo is scheduled to stream the entirety of artRave, including Gaga's first performance of the entire ARTPOP album, on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 11:30 p.m. ET and 8:30 PM PT.
