Here's A Smart Wristband That We'd Actually Want To Wear
Nov 02, 2013 22:04
Interested in getting a smartband but worried that it won't match with your outfit? Then simple yet stylish MEMI band could be just the thing for you.
The MEMI doesn't track steps, heart rate, sleep, or anything else like
that. Instead, it focuses on filtering through the diversions of
smartphones, while ensuring people don't miss notifications they
actually care about like calls, text messages, and calendar events.
The Bluetooth device has no screen and can be customized so wearers
only receive alerts from certain individuals. Three distinct
vibrations can be assigned for different types of alerts, which users
can silence by double tapping the bracelet.
The makers of MEMI are seeking to raise $100,000 to go into production. If you're interested to know more, check out the official Kickstarter page
