Formerly a place to rest for shepherds going to Smithfield, Shepherd’s Bush is five miles west of Central London. This tranquil suburban location borders wealthier districts of Notting Hill and Holland Park in the east, Chiswick in the west, and Hammersmith in the south. When planning a visit with your baby or toddler, here are some attractions.

Day One: Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre

This place has whatever you need to keep your family fit and healthy. Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre has a well-equipped gym and facilities for various ball games, including netball, basketball, squash, and volleyball. Two studios are available, offering classes for different age groups.

You can move from your accommodation near Shepherds Bush to enjoy indoor cycling at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre. The swimming pool offers moments to wind down with your family. Various holiday activities are available for babies and toddlers.

Day Two: Snakes and Ladders Play Centre

Located in Syon Park, Brentford, Snakes and Ladders has endless indoor adventures for the whole family. After a £2 million refurbishment, there is something for every baby or toddler to enjoy. A big 3 tier play frame having climbs and slides is available for older children.

For children below five years, there’s a particular area full of swings, soft play, and ride-ons. Entry here comes with special pre-school activities. Themed party rooms are available for birthday parties.

Day Three: Princess Diana Memorial Playground

Taking your baby or toddler to visit this Memorial Playground honours the late Princess Diana. There is a big wooden pirate ship full of legacy and play. The boat has various sculptures and toys to inspire creativity in children.

Parents have plenty of room to sit and watch their children play. There is also a beach on the ship to enhance a sense of adventure. All children, regardless of physical ability, can play together, gain confidence, and share discoveries.

Day Four: Bramleys Big Adventure

You cannot miss taking your child for adventure at Bramleys. There are three levels of slides, playframe, and ball ponds to offer hours of fun. Children under five and babies have a special area to provide them with appropriate adventure.

Bramleys has various birthday party packages, and you can bring your child’s friends to enjoy the fun. A toy shop is available to buy a souvenir and take the piece of the adventure back home with you.

Day Five: Odds Farm Park

You cannot miss taking your child to enjoy fresh air on a beautiful farm with open spaces. The child will spend time with furry friends, including guinea pigs and rabbits. Your child will enjoy hand-feeding sheep and goats at Undercover Animal Barn or meeting feathered friends at Chicken World.

During summer, the child can say “hello’’ to donkeys, cows and pigs in their paddocks. The tractor and trailer rides offer immense fun when you visit from April to October.
