A survey of 2,000 adults has found that at least 9 percent believe drinking coffee could lead to cancer, while 10 percent think caffeine is the "key to weight loss."

But before you swear off those coffee beans, the World Cancer Research Fund is here with some facts to put everyone straight:
The WCRF said that research has in fact shown that coffee can have a preventative effect against womb cancer and there are suggestions it may protect against liver cancer.
Of course, while we'd love to believe that coffee is the cure-all to everything. But WCRF head researcher Dr. Rachel Thompson still notes there are still a lot of unanswered questions to provide any actual coffee drinking advice or recommendations.
