Want to know how Beyonce's top secret album became such a mega-hit overnight? In this fifth installment from her mini documentary, the diva opens up about feeling stifled as a young performer by fans' expectations:
"I started out when I was nine, with the girls of Destiny's Child; our first album came out when I was 15. I was a child. But now I'm in my 30's, and those children that grew up listening to me have grown up, and I always felt like it was my responsibility to be aware of kids and their parents and all these generations and I felt like it stifled me. I felt like, in a sense, I could not express everything. I've done so many things in my life, in my career, that I feel like, at this point, I've earned the right to be me and to express any and every side of myself."
The album, which sold 80,000 copies in 24 hours, can be purchased over on iTunes
