Astronaut Makes Stuffed Dinosaur For Her Son In Space, Posted It On Pinterest

Karen Nyberg made a stuffed dinosaur for her 3 year old son made out of spare materials she had lying around and posted it to Pinterest. Say, that's kind of boring right? Except Nyberg is on board the International Space Station right now.
"I made this dinosaur for my son last Sunday," Nyberg wrote. "It is made out of velcro-like fabric that lines the Russian food containers found here on the ISS. It is lightly stuffed with scraps from a used t-shirt."

Of course, Nyberg is no stranger to social media from space. She has her own "sewing corner" on the station, and she's even made her own headband to stop her hair from getting too unruly in zero-G, which she shows off in a video on how to wash your hair in space. Check it out below:
