It's still trouble over at Fukushima. A water tank there apparently sprung a leak recently, and according to the latest reports from the northern prefecture, puddles have collected all around the plant and they've got a whole new radioactive water problem,
The amount of radiation detected is not insignificant. TEPCO measured the level at 100 millisieverts per hour, and according to the AFP, that is extremely high radiation levels.
100 millisieverts per year is enough to increase the risk of cancer. TEPCO denies that the water is leaking to the ocean though.
It doesn't look like this is a problem that will go away anytime soon. [AFP]
