Right now, less than 1% of of companies are using Glass, but those numbers is expected to jump to 10% within the next five years. And according to market research firm Gartner, companies using Glass and similar gadgets could save up to $1 billion a year within three to five years.

Fields like technical repair, health care and manufacturing will all benefit from the hands-free features like Internet access, cameras, conferencing and phone calls. And the "augmented reality" feature which projects information in front of users will also be a big help for those who work in jobs that take them outside of the office.
