Document Suggests What Google's Barge May Eventually Look Like
Nov 09, 2013 18:05
Google is letting up what's inside its barge, but documents unearthed by the San Francisco Chronicle seem to suggest that its outside will end up rather more striking than what it looks like right now.
The documents explain that the floating structure will eventually be a 50 foot tall, 250 foot long structure made of recycled shipping containers and surrounded by sails resembling fish fins. We're just as confused as you are right now.
The image - taken from the documents is an artist rendering of how it could turn out to look like. They explain that the barge will be used as a "studio" and "temporary technology exhibit space" and while host 1,000 visitors a day during month-long residencies. For now, everything is still a mystery. [SFGate via CNET via Verge]
